Cecchi La Campana Montefalco Sagrantino 2015

Slate and dark fruit with some wet earth and bark. It’s medium-bodied, tannic and chewy. Very typically austere, but that’s the grape! Drink or hold [through 2027+]. Score – 92. (jamessuckling.com, Aug. 4, 2021)
