Ferrari-Carano Fumé Blanc 2021

‘Fumé Blanc’ is the term coined by famed Californian winemaker Robert Mondavi to describe barrel-fermented Sauvignon Blanc. For the 2021, nearly 30% of the juice was fermented in French oak and the rest in stainless. The result is a wine with white flower, grass, savoury herbs, pear, tropical fruit and fresh-baked bread. Try this with grilled salmon or smoked trout. Drink till 2024.
