A fresh and balanced Brunello for the hot and dry 2017 vintage. It’s medium- to full-bodied with tight and polished tannins that are well-integrated and focused on the palate. Plenty of dark berry, black cherry and dry earth with some porcini mushroom. Fantastic for the vintage. Give it a year or two to soften. Try after 2023. Score – 95. (jamessuckling.com, Nov. 4, 2021)
