More classic Rocks notes of mulled black fruits, pot roast, cured meats, and crushed violets emerge from the 2017 In The Rocks, which is about as seamless, silky, and layered on the palate as they come. Perfectly balanced, with great tannins, it’s another killer Syrah from this team. A blend of 94% Syrah and 6% Viognier, aged in 35% new barrels, drink bottles any time over the coming 10-15 years.
