Viña Chocalan Alexia 2017

Based on Cabernet Franc, a grape that should be more widely planted in Chile, with 25% Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, this top-end red from the talented Fernando Espina is subtle, floral and complex, with graphite and cut grass aromas, fine tannins, graceful oak and a core of tangy bramble and black cherry fruit.
