[Though this bottling is different from the one reviewed, it will show a similar quality and character.] The NV Brut Blanc de Blancs d’Aÿ is bright, effusive and full of character. Chardonnay is so expressive in Aÿ, where the aromatics are beautifully lifted and there is plenty of depth. Lemon confit, spice, apricot, tangerine peel and light tropical notes all grace this superexpressive Blanc de Blancs. Disgorged: February, 2021. Drinking window: 2021-2028. Score – 92.
