Mouzon-Leroux L’Incandescent Rosé de Saignée Champagne

The NV Extra Brut Rosé de Saignée L’Incandescent is a very pretty wine that melds together striking perfume with the taut feel that runs through all these Champagnes. Crushed red berry, chalk, slate and white pepper lend brilliance. I wish there was a bit more on the mid palate. This release is 100% Pinot Noir that saw 25 hours on the skins, all 2015, aged mostly in oak. Score – 91. (Antonio Galloni, vinous.com, Nov. 2021)
