Smoked meat and wood resins, smoulder and gaminess, black berried fruit and oh so chalky. A red blend of grip and dominance, pomp and circumstance. Heady not heavy and needing a year for further settling. Quality fruit and winemaking are more than obvious. Drink 2023-2026. Tasted blind at NWAC 2022, June 2022. Score – 90.
