Alexandrov Nestoreuli Dry Red 2023

This 85% Saperavi and 15% Merlot blend spent one year in Caucasian oak. This type of barrel is more similar to French oak than to American and introduces elements such as clove and nutmeg to the final wines. Expect a rich, bold red with ripe raspberry, cassis, plum, dark chocolate, coffee and spice. Decant and pair with rosemary lamb chops or a lentil-and-root-vegetable casserole.
