Alpamanta Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc 2020

A blend of 55% cabernet sauvignon and 45% cabernet franc, both from vineyards planted in the Ugarteche zone of Luján de Cuyo in 2006, this is a very juicy and gastronomic combination of aromas and fruity flavors, acidity, and rather firm, wild tannins. It’s an imposing wine that needs a grilled pork loin to accommodate the palate. Score – 92. (Patricio Tapia, guiadescorchados.cl, 2022)
