Alta-Yarí Gran Calcáreo Malbec 2023

The Alta Yari Gran Malbec Calcáreo is a selection of vineyards planted in 2009 on the Alta Yari property, on the Lomas del Jaboncillo, in Gualtallary. A place characterized by its calcium-rich soils at an altitude of more than 1,500 meters. This is a selection of especially calcareous soils – white and stony soils in a block of about three hectares in this corner of the Andes known as Monasterio. Look for the flowers here, the red fruits that appear on the nose, but above all, for those sharp chalky tannins and that saline note toward the finish. A wine full of character that is also generous in its expression from a place as special as this, in the north of the Uco Valley. For the price, there are few wines with so much personality.
