Alyan Family Ambassador Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

For the Grand Ambassador Cabernet Sauvignon, Alyan selects grapes from their own vineyards planted about 14 years ago in the Pirque zone. Aged for a year in barrels, it does a great job of showing the character of the wines from that part of the Alto Maipo at the foot of the Andes. It has juicy red fruits, herbal notes, acidity that’s firm but not aggressive, and a delicious, smooth, and elegant tannin texture. A photo of a place at a very affordable price. Score – 92 .
