Angove Family Crest Grenache/Shiraz/Mourvèdre 2020

This wine is an excellent representation of the power and finesse found in the McLaren Vale. Sourcing Shiraz and Mourvèdre from the slate-laden Sellick Foothills adds flavours of dark fruit and a fine minerality, while Grenache sourced from the sandy Blewitt Springs soils adds notes of candied spice and licorice.[The Melbourne International Wine Competition did not include a tasting note.] Score – 94.
