Anne-Sophie Pic & Michel Chapoutier Cornas 2022

This wine is a blend of Syrah from three vineyards: one in the foothills, with a granite bedrock; one to the north in Arlettes, its soils granite and limestone; and the third at higher altitude in Saint-Pierre, featuring granitic sands with limestone and silt. Harvested by hand, the fruit is vinified in concrete and the resulting wine is aged for 14 months in oak barrels. Savour this powerful, taut, mineral-laced wine through at least 2030.
