Bachelder Willms les Naturistes Gamay Noir Cru 2020

Sitting between the two water sources of Lake Ontario and Four Mile Creek, planted in 1983 on loamy clay soils. Bright ruby colour and aromas of red berries with a hint of dried herbs. Fresh acidity and surprisingly firm tannins. Nice now, but will be better with some more bottle age. Drinking window: 2022-2026. Score – 93. (Michelle Cherutti-Kowal, MW, decanter.com, Nov. 1, 2022)
