Banfi Rosso di Montalcino 2022

Licorice, rose and wild strawberries combine as the 2022 Rosso di Montalcino develops. This pretty blending of southern Montalcino fruit and Sangiovese acidity comes across as ripe yet juicy with a mineral core to contrast. It finishes with decent length and potency, leaving a youthful tension that will require a short stay in the cellar to resolve. Drinking window: 2025-2030. Score – 90.
