Basares Tempranillo 2022

Plush spices and chili chocolate to the blackberries, warm stones and mussels. Rich and full-bodied on the palate with nicely chewy tannins and a broad, medium-long finish. Tannic but not overdone. Drink or hold [till end of the decade]. Score – 91. (Zekun Shuai, jamessuckling.com, Oct. 9, 2023)
