A part-estate, part-grower blend of 67/26/7% shiraz/grenache/mourvèdre. The analysis of 13.5% alcohol, 6.1g/L TA and 3.46 pH are an all-up sweet spot for mouthfeel. On skins 12-14 days, matured for 6 months in used puncheons or tank (to retain freshness). Blending at different times for different purposes is part of ‘the knowledge.’ The wine is ridiculously good, likely to cause dribbling when tasting. And yes, another 95-pointer. Drink from: 2023.
