Boccantino Primitivo/Susumaniello 2023

This wine is a blend of Primitivo with the spicy Susumaniello grape found only in Puglia. There’s lots to like here, starting with the lifted floral aromatics. Look for a nice mix of purple, red and black fruit (notably cassis) alongside some exotic spice and oak spice. Drink through 2028.
