There is also a soupçon of wood here but in this case it’s more toast than spice framing the somber blue pinot fruit and distinctly earthy nose that introduces cool, reserved and mineral-driven flavors that are tight, pure and like the Duresses, this too is presently decidedly Cistercian in character on the balanced finish. Drink date: 2018+. Sweet spot. Outstanding. Score – 90-92. (Allen Meadows, burghound.com, April 18, 2010)
