Brigaldara San Floriano Riserva Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2015

The 2015 Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva San Floriano is a force to be reckoned with. It smolders with a darkly satisfying bouquet of ground clove and cinnamon sticks accentuating dried black cherries. Hints of tobacco and a dusting of cocoa powder add further complexity. It’s rich and enveloping, with velvety textures suspended by a core of vibrant acidity. Waves of ripe red and black fruits drench the palate in primary concentration. The 2015 finishes savory and long, still tightly wound and begging for the cellar, as a bitter tinge of mocha resonates under an air of rosy inner florals.
