Buisson-Charles Clos des Vigne Franches Beaune 1er Cru 2023

A mildly toasty nose is comprised by pretty spice and soft floral nuances that add a certain elegance to the mostly dark currant aromas. While the bright and energetic flavors are not especially dense I very much like the texture as it’s at once caressing and generous before culminating in a solidly persistent and complex finale. This is lovely with a lacy mouthfeel and while it’s not going to wow anyone with its power, this is really quite good. Drink: 2030+. Outstanding. Score – 91.
