A very good expression of cabernet franc in its price range, this has the light touches of tobacco and herbs that are common in the variety, but it’s the aromatic intensity that predominates here, as do the fruity flavors that gracefully spread across the palate, lending it a seductively juicy character and making it very easy to drink. But beware the tannins – they bite. Accompany it with rice with duck. This cabernet franc comes from the granitic soils of Marchigüe, in the Colchagua Valley. Score – 92.
