Product Details
The granitic soils of Marchigüe in western Colchagua usually provide firm tannins that can often only be tamed with a few years in the bottle. And those palate-prickling tannins are strongly felt here in this cabernet from vineyards planted in 2007, although fortunately, there’s more to it than that. Ripe red fruits and herbal touches unfurl gracefully in a wine that would go very well with game meat. This red was aged for 12 months in barrels. [A wine with the potential to see 2030+.] Score – 92. (Patricio Tapia, guiadescorchados.cl, 2023)
