This vintage feels and tastes radically different from the 2007 vintage that I tasted right before I tasted this wine. Those three years represent a positive stylistic shift for the 2010 Barolo Riserva. This expression is infinitely more delicate and nuanced. The wine sports a lighter footstep and a finely polished texture. Wild berry and forest bramble segue to campfire ash and white truffle. Drink date: 2017-2027. Score – 93.
