Sourced from the colluvial soils of Los Lingues close to the foothills of the Andes, this is a Carmenère that benefits from diurnal variation according to Juan Francisco Calderón. Intensely perfumed and engaging, it has rocket and basil aromas, textured, palate-coating tannins and a palate of bramble and dark chocolate supported by acidity. Drink date: 2025-2030. Score – 92.
