Casarena Lauren Single Vineyard Cabernet Franc 2019

Lauren Vineyard is located in one of the coolest parts of Agrelo on sandy clay soils. The resulting wine is a delightful Cabernet Franc that handles its 30% new wood extremely sensitively. Balanced, leafy and refined, with dill and sage aromas, racy acidity and layers of red cherry and bramble fruit. Superb. Drink date: 2024-2031. Score – 95.
