Castello di Querceto Il Picchio Gran Selezione Chianti Classico 2019

This red is dense with black cherry, blackberry, plum, earth, tobacco and mineral aromas and flavors. This wine’s muscular structure keeps everything in check for now, yet this has all the components for aging: balance, backbone and excellent length. Best from 2025 through 2042. Score – 95.
