Certan De May Pomerol Moueix 2024

The 2024 Certan de May is a dark, brooding Pomerol. Incense, cloves, licorice, grilled herbs and spice give Certan de May a decidedly virile, almost somber character. The wine is perhaps a touch light on the mid-palate relative to some years, and yet its balance is beyond reproach. This is promising. Drinking window: 2029-2039. (Antonio Galloni,vinous.com)
