Chapelle de Haut-Bages Libéral 2020

The 2020 La Chapelle de Haut-Bages Libéral is a gorgeous second wine. Racy and supple, with no hard edges, the 2020 offers up copious dark red cherry/plum fruit intermingled with sweet floral notes. The 2020 was aged 60% in French oak and 40% in concrete, which adds notable purity and freshness. This is beautifully done. Drinking window: 2023-2032. Score – 92.
