Château Bélair 1er Cru 1998

The 1998 vintage was marred by rain and frost on the Left Bank but had excellent growing conditions on the Right Bank. In the heart of Saint-Émilion, Château Bélair produced some of their best reds in the grand vintage. These are long-lived, stoic wines with depth, concentration and poise that will offer aromas of cassis, green bell pepper, clove, bay leaf, graphite and sandalwood.
