The 2015 Boyd-Cantenac offers attractive raspberry and wild strawberry on the nose, the oak nicely integrated and hints of rose petal emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin and punchy red berry fruit laced with brown spices and graphite, leading to a cohesive finish with good density and length. One of the hidden gems from the appellation this year. Tasted blind at the Southwold 2015 Bordeaux tasting. [Drink into late 2030s.] Score – 93. (Neal Martin, vinous.com, July 9, 2019)
