Château Chasse-Spleen 2014

The 2014 Chasse-Spleen has a more backward nose than I recall, aniseed, tinged red fruit, just a touch of wild mint. The palate is medium-bodied with lightly spiced red fruit, well balanced and ferrous toward the finish with a spicy finish. This tasted better a few years ago but is still worth seeking out.
