Château Clarke 2016

Still youthful on the nose, a little closed but huge potential. Sweet, ripe, concentrated dark fruit. Plush in texture and cut with ample acidity. Silky, precise and fresh tannins. Fine and a long future ahead. The first year with Fabrice Darmaillacq and Eric Boissenot in charge, and a vintage with a very wet and mild winter, followed by a cool, wet spring before a dry summer.
