Château Corbin 2022

The 2022 Corbin has turned out beautifully, bursting with aromas of cherries and raspberries mingled with hints of violets, vine smoke and bay leaf. Medium to full-bodied, supple and velvety, it’s bright, perfumed and polished, but with a touch more mid-palate density and texture than is habitual for this elegant-styled wine. It’s a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, and such was the quality of all the lots that no second wine was produced this year. (William Kelley,robertparker.com)
