The medieval moated castle of Agassac is a fairytale place. The wine, after serious investments, is now showing well. This 2012 is smooth and rich, with black plum fruits and currants giving a ripe feel. The wood aging is already well integrated in this solid, generous wine. Drink from 2018. Editors’ Choice.
