Château de la Gardine Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2020

The 2020 Châteauneuf Du Pape is a big, rich, powerful base cuvée that brings medium to full-bodied richness as well as lots of tannins, notes of black and blue fruits, pepper, and violets, terrific balance, and a great finish. It’s one of the few 2020s that really needs to be hidden for 3-4 years, but it’s unquestionably an impressive wine. Maturity: After 2025. Score – 92+. (jebdunnuck.com, Nov. 11, 2022)
