Château Fonréaud 2022

An attractive wine, the 2023 Fonréaud bursts from the glass with aromas of dark wild berries, spices, coniferous forest, licorice and flowers. Medium to full-bodied, lively and elegant, it has bright acids, a fleshy core of fruit and a delicate, penetrating and long finish. This blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot is a real success this year. Drink date: 2025-2040. (Yohan Castaing,Other,April 26, 2024)
