Château La Caminade Malbec/Merlot 2021

An interesting, somewhat atypical blend for a French wine, with 70% Malbec, 25% Merlot, and 5% Tannat adding texture and well-integrated tannins to this firm red. Aromas of boysenberry and black olive mingle with aniseed and bell pepper, with a touch of bitter dark chocolate on the finish.[Concours des Vins du Sud-Ouest France did not include a tasting note.] Score – Gold.
