Chateau Teyssier 2021

The 2021 Teyssier is pliant and seductive, as it always is. Crushed red berry fruit, spice, mint and cedar are nicely woven together. Teyssier is a bit understated in this vintage, but that is not a bad thing at all. If anything, the 2021 impresses for its nuance, detail and overall finesse. Attractive floral and spices reappear on the finish. Sadly, production is down a whopping 70% because of frost damage. Drinking window: 2024-2033. Score – 89-91. (Antonio Galloni, vinous.com)
