A merlot led blend at 55 percent with (19) cabernet franc, (12) cabernet sauvignon and (7 each) malbec plus petit verdot. So many red blends exist in this heavy oak fuelled vacuum and herein lies the rambling gait and rumbling thunder of another. There is plenty of fruit substance to back it up this time and the blend actually comes away with some grace and even elegance. This should last a very long time. Drink 2025-2030.
