Clos Figueras Tinto 2015

Saturated ruby. Perfumed aromas of cherry and dark berry liqueur, licorice and violet are joined in the glass by smoky mineral and spice nuances. Chewy and well-concentrated, offering ripe, spice-laced blackberry and bitter cherry flavors that turn sweeter with air. Closes on a repeating cherry note, with strong persistence and dusty tannins adding framework and final grip. Drinking window: 2023-2033. Score – 94. (Josh Raynolds, vinous.com, March 2021)
