The nose of the 2016 Clos Figueres transports me to the Priorats from the turn of the century, with those aromas of wet slate and graphite. It’s earthy and rustic, with abundant, dusty tannins and a full-bodied palate with ripe fruit flavors. It finishes dry and with abundant tannins. Drink date: 2019-2024. Score – 92.
