Delas Frères Sainte-Épine Saint-Joseph 2018

This sports a ripe and pure core of plum, boysenberry and black cherry purée flavors, while sporting some brambly grip and good energy throughout. Anise and warm fruitcake fill in on the finish and there’s a long, subtle mineral edge as well. Nice range and character, just needs a bit of cellaring to fully knit. Best from 2022 through 2032.
