Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé Chambolle-Musigny 2019

A wine of crystalline purity but not lacking in depth. Produced from just over 2ha of vines, including a bit of Premier Cru Les Fuées and Les Baudes blended in. The grapes in 2019 were picked very ripe on September 14th, and have given a wine that has a lovely, rich dark fruit character, with a smoky edge and a texture on the palate that is silky and fine, yet lingers with satisfying persistence.
