Domaine de Compostelle 2020

Dark berries, spices and walnut with some roasted coffee aromas and flavors. Full-bodied with lots of fruit and velvety tannins. It’s luscious and plush. 85% merlot and 15% cabernet franc. Try after 2026 [and into the mid-2030s. This is the second wine of Château La Cabanne]. (jamessuckling.com,May 14, 2023)
