Domaine Fond Croze Confidence Côtes du Rhône 2023

An attractive blend of grenache and syrah matured in concrete and barrels, this sports a focused palate of dark fruit and berries with top-notes of spice. The fruit-acid balance is very good, and the tannins are drying and relaxed. It’s drinking well now and will hold to the late 2020s. (Tasted June 2024.) Score – 90. (Rod Phillips)
