A more Mourvèdre-dominated wine, the 2019 Costières De Nîmes Lou Coucardié checks in as 55% Mourvèdre, 25% Grenache, and 20% Syrah that saw one-third whole clusters in the fermenter. Beautiful red and black fruits, spices, dried herbs, cured meats, and peppery notes give way to a medium to full-bodied, impressively balanced 2019 with fine tannins and outstanding length.
