Domaine Geantet-Pansiot Vieilles Vignes Chambolle-Musigny 2018

Subtle aromas of iron and minerals with some blood oranges and raspberries. A bit shy at first but it opens up slowly, with more exp ressive ripe berry fruit and touches of white pepper and sage. Good energy and tension, with sweet-sour berries at the end. It’s more approachable than the Gevrey-Chambertin En Champs, for example, which is deeper, spicier and more muscular. Drink or hold.
