Domaine J.Denuzière Saint-Joseph 2020

I loved the nose on the 2020 Saint Joseph J. Denuzière, which has a Côte Rôtie-like perfume of black raspberries, exotic spice, dried flowers, and bacon fat. Hitting the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, it has ripe, yet building tannins, good overall balance, and a great finish. It’s going to benefit from a few years of bottle age but should have 10-15 years of overall longevity. Score – 91-93. (jebdunnuck.com, Feb. 16, 2022)
